The big city I’d like to visit is Sydney. I think I’d travel there by plane or train, since they’re really convenient ways to get around Australia these days. Instead of visiting those famous tourist attractions, I’d prefer to just walk along the streets and feel the city’s vibe.
I would like to talk about the time I got really good service at the Chinese restaurant last year right after my final exam week. I have been studying like crazy for hours every single day reviewing course notes and setting for all my written exams so I was totally exhausted, and also a little homesick being abroad I really needed to relax and have a taste of home cooked Chinese food so I opened Google map randomly picked a Chinese restaurant near my place, even though it's rating wasn't that high. I thought it was convenient and gave it a try
Recently, I just finished reading a book the Three-Body Problem. I was written by Liu Cixin, a famous Chinese science fiction writer. He used to work in a factory and wrote this amazing novel in his free time.
The book is extremely popular in China and even around the world. It is about what would happen to human society if we discovered that aliens were coming to Earth, The story starts with this big question, and different group of people hold very different opinions.
I would like to talk about the cooking skill I have learned by myself. As an international student, I live alone and far away from my parents, so I really need to cook by ourselves to survive. Actually, in high school, I just ate in the school canteen with my classmates, and at weekends, my parents cooked for me. So before university, I seldom cooked by myself and I was really bad at it. But I had to face this challenge when I went to university, so I tried to learn cooking through online videos. There are plenty of learning resources online that teach you how to cook simple dishes.
